Dell Launch Android Tablet 7 Inch


Dell Launch Android Tablet 7 Inch - Shortly after the displaying device is a tablet that has a keyboard in the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francsisco, Dell again showing off new tablet design. This time, sailing a 7-inch tablet computer that uses the Android operating system.

The device was brought CEO of Dell, Michael Dell, while on stage as a speaker in the Oracle OpenWorld conference, San Francisco, Wednesday (22/9/2010) ago. However, he did not give more detailed specifications of these devices.

Previously, Dell has launched a five-inch-sized tablet that is named Streak last month. Dell says Streak is currently only available at the company's online store and will be available at Best Buy retail stores starting next month. Streak, operates with Android and doubles as a smart phone with a price of 549.99 U.S. dollars, or 299.99 U.S. dollars but a two-year contract with AT & T.

Dell is the second largest computer maker in the world, according to industry analyst IDC, but Dell has expanded its product portfolio with an emphasis on mobile devices. Tablets made by Dell will compete with Apple iPad and other competitors such as Samsung, Hewlett Packard (HP), and Toshiba.

Tablets are more popular. BMO Capital Markets estimates that sales of tablets over 40 million units in 2011 but hurt sales of notebooks and netbooks.
